Congratulations to A/Prof Dominique Cadilhac and co investigators on NHMRC Project Grant success

Congratulations to A/Prof Dominique Cadilhac and co investigators, Prof Chris Bladin, Prof Marj Moodie, Prof Helen Dewey and A/Prof Atte Meretoja for their recent successful NHMRC Project Grant application – Determining the cost-effectiveness of a novel Australian Stroke Telemedicine program: CAST study.

A/Prof Cadilhac and colleagues were awarded a grant of $475,446 to undertake a comprehensive economic evaluation of the VST Program that now will include a 12 month patient follow-up.

This NHMRC grant will add to the existing VST program by providing more robust economic evaluation and facilitates new collaborations with health economics experts from Deakin University.

CAST will be the largest assessment of the cost-effectiveness of stroke telemedicine internationally.
