Kathleen is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the VST Program. Her primary responsibility is to coordinate and undertake research activities across the VST Program. Kathleen has previously worked in a number of applied research roles, taught research design and statistics as well as supervised student research. Kathleen has a Bachelor of Behavioural Sciences (Hons) and a PhD (Psychology) from Monash University.

Joosup is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the VST Program with a background in biomedical science and economics. Joosup’s primary role in the VST Program is to coordinate collection of data that will be used to undertake an economic evaluation of the program. Joosup is also involved with the Australian Stroke Clinical Registry and has been involved in several other public health research projects related to stroke.

Sally manages the on call roster of VST neurologists and provides administrative support for the program. Sally is experienced in project and business management in both the public and private sectors. She holds a Bachelor of Social Science and a Graduate Certificate of Business Management.

Nancy works with the VST site coordinators in the collection of project data and is also responsible for managing the VST database. Nancy has worked on several programs in a similar capacity, including Life After Stroke, Know Your Numbers, Stroke123, T3 and AuSCR. Nancy holds a Bachelor of Behavioural Science, Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy, and Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Hons) and is currently completing her PhD specifically looking at nutritional supplementation in Type 2 Diabetes to improve skeletal muscle function.

Karen provides support in the collection of project data and managing the VST database, as well as assists in the preparation of ethics applications, project reports and publications for the VST program. She has previously worked as a research assistant on projects investigating other neurological conditions. Karen holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Hons).

Tessa is a Clinical Nurse Specialist and project coordinator at Bendigo Health. Tessa has completed a Masters of Nursing in Critical Care and has experience in stroke care and emergency nursing. Tessa is passionate about improving outcomes for her patients and community.
